Getting a FREE credit report

Did you know you should pull your own credit report at least once a year. The reason is to double check how things are going and to see if there is any fraud. You should not pull your credit to often because it does lower the credit score. It doesn't lower the score drastically but it down lower it. There is a website that you can go to and get a real free credit report. It is at annualcreditreport.com once you pick the state you live in IE: Utah. Then click request report. Then next page you will need to fill out a lot of personal information. Then you can click continue, then you will have to continue by picking which credit report agency you want to pull your credit from and verify some more information. Once you go through all the information your report will come up with a report number on the top save this number some where save. The reason being if you need to dispute any information you can use this report number to dispute and it is a little easier. OK, I just want you to know that to dispute something on a credit report is not easy so I don't want you to think I take it lightly. I just want people to know to keep track of things on your credit... good credit can be less stress and can help you in your life to succeed. Be aware and do something about it!
